Our law office was founded in 1982 by Kirk Rondeau and Alan Snell. In 1988, Kevin Jaques assumed the practice. Kevin was raised in Regina, and attended Lakeview School, Sheldon Williams Collegiate, and the University of Regina, earning a variety of scholarships and his degree in Psychology. Kevin obtained a score in the 99th percentile on the Law School Admission Test, and was accepted at a variety of Law Schools. He chose our own University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon. He has continued to study the law and other areas of education
Kevin's ambition since childhood was a general practice of law in a small firm in Regina. Kevin brought an experience focused mainly on court work but soon developed expertise in a wide variety of areas. The only areas not yet developed are those of the corporate structure of publicly traded corporations, and the registration of intellectual property. He currently emphasizes solicitor work, including real estate, wills and estates, and corporate law. Kevin is proud of his family, Paula Sostorics, his wife, and his two children, Natasha, born in 1989, and Sam, born in 1992. He has participated in varied activities in both the legal and non-legal community, belonging to the Canadian Bar Association (CBA), the Saskatchewan Trial Lawyers Association (STLA), the MacIntosh User's Group of Regina (M.U.G.O.R.S.) Inc.) (as President for several years), and Mensa at various times.
Jayme Day, then Jayme Williams, joined our firm as an Articling Student in June of 2000. She was 'admitted to the bar' (licensed to practice law) in June of 2001 and remained with us until June 2002.
