All software posted in the Apple SW Updates Worldwide folder can be identified using the Worldwide Language Codes document located in this folder. The Language code is a one or two character prefix applied to each posting. For example "F-CD-ROM Setup 5.0.1" software is localized software for the French Mac OS. DISCUSSION ---------------------------------------------------------------- We have implemented a structure for the Worldwide Apple Software Updates we are rolling out across the following online services and Internet sites. As of 27-Mar-95, the new structure has been rolled out on eWorld, AppleLink, ftp.info.apple.com, ftp.support.apple.com and in a modified form on CompuServe. 1) AppleLink (path: Software Sampler -> Apple SW Updates -> Worldwide) 2) eWorld (shortcut: acc; path: Computer Center -> Apple Customer Center -> Apple Worldwide Software Updates) 3) ftp.support.apple.com (path: pub -> Apple Software Updates -> Worldwide ) 4) ftp.info.apple.com (formerly ftp.austin.apple.com) (path: Apple.Support.Area -> Apple.Software.Updates -> Worldwide) 5) info.hed.apple.com (Apple Higher Education gopher server) (path: Apple.Support.Area -> Apple.Software.Updates -> Worldwide) Note: Our Apple Support Forum on CompuServe (GO: APLSUP) has a different structure since CompuServe does not support subdirectories (folders) within each library.
