InfoDepot Outliner, our free version of the award-winning InfoDepot, 
includes a sample document called "Internet Bookmarks". Using 
AppleScript, this file provides simple, yet powerful, organizing tools 
for use with any scriptable browser (Netscape Navigator or Internet 
Explorer). We also have a more advanced version of the bookmarks file 
which uses Internet Config. The advanced version is only available by 
request (to reduce confusion for new users), so let me know if you want 
it.

BTW, Internet Bookmarks has several hundred sites already listed to get 
you started. We've even had users say that the list of sites was worth 
the price of the full version of InfoDepot (around $190 direct, slightly

€Idea for Conflict Isolation
Part of the problem is observation. A start up item could move a log file into the start up item folder. Then a shut down item could move it back out. If there was a crash, then on start up, the log would open, encouraging the user to note the apparent cause and symptoms.

Jon's Commands 1.7.2 is an AppleScript scripting addition which, among other
  things, allows control of the Clipboard from AppleScript,
  returns hardware information and lets you get a list of selected
  Finder items. Version 1.7.2 reworks the ordering of the "walk
  folder" execution so that deleting files and folders is
  possible, and makes "DeleteFile" delete folders recursively.

  supports drag and drop, strips headers and footers, allows easy

  implements deletion marks and now bases the filetyping mechanism

Other new technology to look for, he said, is Apple's Meta Content Format 
(MCF), which is a "way of dealing with knowledge that resides in 
databases."

MCF will "do for databases what HTML did for text," he said. "It will be 
a critical step for us -- our people in the labs have done great work 
with this."

€Fonts Manager 3.5.2 out
Fonts Manager(tm) is functionally similar to the System 7.5.x Extensions 
Manager, but it is NOT a control panel. It is more like a Desk Accessory. 
It allows the enabling and disabling of font suitcases and printer fonts 
in 'Sets'. It supports Balloon help and a Topical Help system. Unlike 
other utilities, such as Suitcase(tm) and Master Juggler(tm), it works on 
ALL Macs with System 7.1 or later, including 7.5.3, without modifying the 
NORMAL startup and operation of your computer. Thousands worldwide 
running all kinds of Macs have switched to Fonts Manager to get 'Up & 
Running'.

NEW since version 3.5.1:
- NEW progress bars (no more guessing what's happening)
- faster launch
- ignores extra folders in Fonts folder, instead of just hanging or 
crashing (although the Fonts folder should NEVER have folders inside it,
