Marathon became, in January, my real life. Oh sure, I still have recurring dreams of living on a fossil fuel age planet, oddly obsessed with the local currency and what the natives think of me. But my real life is fighting evil aliens on the Colony ship Marathon in the far reaches of space. This is a Doom­like game, in that you explore, from the characterıs eyeıs perspective, three­dimensional mappable spaces. There is a demo out for both versions 1 and 2, each of which will offer hours of play.

My main two topics grew into articles of their own, namely my review of Filemaker 3.0 and my Struggles with AppleScript, which are included in this issue.
